- i know i am leaving out some big ones, but these are ones i own and love- sadly i havent bought much music this year- hopefully that will change in 2010

Best Albums of 2009?

I’m horrible at favorites.

In 2008, I took nearly the whole month of December just to make a top thirty list. My top thirty list turned into a top ten list with a pile of honorable mentions stuck on the rear. The rankings started to become a bit arbitrary/meaningless at a certain point, and I promised to never do that again. Maybe I’m not cut out to be a music critic. (whew.)

So, I’ve sworn off favorites, but that doesn’t mean you have to! I’m waaay more interested in what you have to say about 2009′s music. Send me your top whatever albums of 2009, and I’ll post them here!  Send them to me at theawkwardoff@gmail.com or post them in the comments below.
